September 2008 On a very wet Sunday, nearly 3,000 cyclists turned out to cycle 45 miles in aid of The Trust. Their route took them from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle. We'd like to thank everybody who turned out to support The Trust.
SportCam were present, taking pictures of people at both the start and finish of the ride. Log onto the SportCam website to buy images or see if you’ve been caught on camera.
Feedback We'd love to hear how you enjoyed the day, please complete our online survey.
"Everybody was friendly. The marshals were brilliant." - Jan Hughes
"The highlight for me was being able to cycle up the mall at Buckingham Palace without any traffic. I felt like a royal! And then ending the ride cycling up towards Windsor Castle was very special too. And having a water stop every 10 miles!"- Sally
"Hard to pick one thing... the camaraderie between fellow bikers was fab and the sense of achievement (my first sponsored ride) but it was fantastically organised especially the spacing of the water stops...just right... and the smiley marshals. Fabulous." - Jane Cashmore
