Celebrate Success Awards 2008/09: call for entries
It's time for nominations for this year’s Celebrate Success Awards. We're asking you to nominate someone inspirational.
Since Celebrate Success began, almost 2500 people have been nominated: young people; volunteers; xl club advisers; Team leaders; partner organisations and staff.
Every person who has changed their life for the better or helped change someone’s life around with The Trust deserves to have their efforts recognised. So why not take some time to think about who you could nominate?
Have you been inspired by:
a young person who has dramatically changed their life?
a group of young people who have transformed their local community?
a volunteer with a reputation for exceptional dedication?
an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership?
a partner organisation with commitment and flair?
Don’t let great achievements go unseen.
What is Celebrate Success? Celebrate Success Awards recognise young people’s success in education, skills development, employment, enterprise and community.
The Awards also acknowledge the vital support of individuals such as team leaders, group advisors, volunteers and Trust staff as well as the work of our delivery partners and supporters.
There are two key stages to Celebrate Success. The first: a series of awards events that will take place across the UK regions and countries in autumn 2008. The second: the UK finals in early 2009. Winners from region and country events become nominees for the UK finals, with three winners making up the final shortlist for each category.

Celebrate Success 2008/09
We’re looking for nominations for this year’s Celebrate Success Awards.
Everyone who has changed their life for the better or helped change someone’s life around with The Prince’s Trust should be recognised for their efforts.
Vicki Peters said, Young Achiever of the Year in the East of England and UK finalist
“Before I contacted The Prince’s Trust, I didn’t have a future, but their support and encouragement has meant I’ve turned my life around. It was great to just be nominated.
This whole experience has made me realise just how much I have achieved with the support of The Prince’s Trust.”
This is the fourth year of Celebrate Success and the RBS group is the principal supporter across the UK.
The Royal Bank’s support includes UK-wide sponsorship of the Community Impact Award category and headline sponsor of the UK final.
The Trust is extremely grateful to the RBS group for their continued support of Celebrate Success.
“So many inspiring individuals! I was impressed by the stories of the young people who have turned their lives around so dramatically, but also moved by the commitment and dedication of The Prince’s Trust staff and volunteers.”
